What happened between “Medicine Man” and “Sayonara”?

The album “Schallgewordene Emotion” already existed as a written concept, and various sessions were recorded in 2007. Then work began on “Sayonara,” which required full focus. The recordings for “Schallgewordene Emotion” remained in their final, rather raw form, without further development of the details. The album is therefore more accurately described as a demo.
The stylistic mix on this album is wild. The first two tracks are difficult to categorize into any known genre, but then struggle out of the endless intros and unpleasantly distorted textures as sluggish industrial-electro stompers with the barely intelligible growls of a mid-twenties.
The song “Theatre (Ruins)” later spawned a sequel, “Theatre (Stages),” performed at various live concerts and appearing on the album “Sayonara” (2010/Ant-Zen). The Ruins version is the origin of this song.
Afterward, the focus shifts to naive, distorted techno beats with a punk attitude, underpinned by cheesy rhythmic noise loops. Toward the end of the album, the recording sessions become increasingly improvised, culminating in a freely interpreted version of Warrior (originally from No Way Out/2003), whose raw energy closely captures the live feel of Nin Kuji at that time.
