Osore (jap: fear). Overwhelming fear and panic can completely shatter a normal life. Mental problems can have physical effects … This is the 2016-“audio diary“ of Nin Kuji.
“Fear is a mind killer!”
Osore is a 9-track album, consisting of the 2016-recording sessions by Nin Kuji. A wild mix of rhythm and noise, dark ambient and power electronics. Never homogenous, always unconventional.
all sessions recorded in april, may and dec 2016 by nin kuji. editing at castle kuji 2016.
used gear: ipad air (cubasis, dm-1, korg gadget, moog filtatron, wow, alchemy, yamaha mobile sequencer, walldorf nave, sunrizer), m-audio oxygen 8, alesis io hub, studio projects b-1.

Fact: Osore (Album, 2016) was done on an iPad. I used lots of mobile apps before for music, but Osore was recorded, arranged and mostly mixed on an iPad. For final editing and last steps I moved to a desktop computer. Nice technical challenge/experiment.
Used mostly DM-1, Yamaha Mobile Seq, Korg Gadget, Sunrizer, Waldorf Nave, Moog Filtatron and recorded in Cubasis for iPad. All connected to an Alesis io Hub, Studio Projects B-1, M-Audio Oxygen 8 and Beyerdynamic DT-770.
Imagine all the stuff you would have needed years before …
Well, after that I came back to some hardware. Not because it’s better, but it’s more fun. Over the years, I’ve always mixed my sound sources in a wild way …
